Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous as a naive character who are adorable and enjoyable. Adams grew as the seventh 7-year-old living in Castle Rock Colorado. In the mid-1990s she began acting and dancing professionally in the Boulder Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. In Minnesota she worked in a regional theatre where her role in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a mockumentary about beauty magazines. Following her successful screen debut, in which she played an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet relocating to Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally. From June 1951 to September of 1962, she got engaged to actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was found by actress Norma Shearer and signed a contract to work for MGM in the 1940s. She starred as Norma in a few popular movies through time, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho which was released in 1960 as well as Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film which was released in 1954.
