Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. Then she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight as a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy as an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd was not able to weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the 2nd round via TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a pound and grind to her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. She continued her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd won the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via majority decision.
