Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish was best-known for her role in movies such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah and Geostorm (2017). Cornish made up a cast that won an award from the Screen Actors Guild Award for the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, MO (2017). Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin's parents believed in her and encouraged her to pursue a career as an actress. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned her trade. Gilpin began her acting career off-Broadway as she was auditioning for roles on film and TV. After a brief guest appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent the actress was offered small roles in Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin kept securing TV guest spots over the subsequent years. Until she got her debut break in 2013 by landing a recurring role in the show Nurse Jackie. In the role of the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes of the series until Nurse Jackie closed its doors in June 2015. Gilpin played the role in True Story, a thriller featuring a mysterious element.
