Katherine Heigl reveals her experiences as a child living in a white bubble changed the way she parented her adopted multiracial family. However, after meeting her Korean-American adopted sister, she realised the distinction in how people treated her and her. "I asked Meg how she was different when she went out with our parents and those who went out by herself. Meg responded "Oh yes! All the times!" That made me realize that I was naive," Heigl said to parents. Her anger grew, and she decided to use that anger to assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4. married for 13 years. They took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion and was adopted in 2009.
