Jenna Fischer's most well-known character was that of Pam Beesly from the popular television show The Office. To honor the significance of her performance, she received an Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role and received two SAG Awards.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was raised living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna spent her childhood watching her mother Anne performing in church plays. The experience instilled a passion for theater.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her origins. The Off-Broadway production of Reasons to Be Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. She went on to star in the world premiere of Steve Martin's latest show Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking run at The Old Globe Theatre.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey launched an online podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. It has grown to become wildly popular, landing on the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads within its first two years. Office Ladies, which was launched in October 2019 it was nominated for iHeartRadio's Podcast of the Month award in January 2021.
She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends There. This autobiography is about the relationship between them and how they worked in the production of The Office.
