Markie Post has been a notable American actress for many years. Her roles include public defender Christine Sullivan (NBC) and the Bail Bondswoman Terri Michals from ABC's series The Fall Guy. Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman has been credited with the CBS sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she has been involved in a variety of game-based programs. She is the daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her two siblings. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. It was where she played cheerleader. She briefly studied at Pomona College. On a personal note Post was once was married with Stephen Knox. Post has been married from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer who has two daughters. Post has a positive influence on Hollywood for her role as a great actress as well as a wonderful wife and mom. Some of her early credits include a pilot of the 1981 Barnaby Jones, Simon & Simon: Details at Eleven, which aired in season one episode 2 of The Greatest American Hero and episodes of The A-Team. In 1983 she portrayed various characters in The Only Church in Town and Hot Styles in 1984. She appeared as Diane Chambers' best friend in The ABC sitcom Cheers as well as Buck Rogers where she played Diane's best friend.
